Lidón Patiño

Lidón Patiño will be your teacher in each and one of the videos in this online Flamenco course. 

Lidón is an international Flamenco teacher and dancer. Founder and director of her own online school “Lidón Flamenco Academy” and graduate of the Professional Conservatory of Dance of Madrid. She has danced and taught in more than 26 countries around the world. 

Currently Lidón is a professor of Flamenco and Choreography at the University of New Mexico in the United States. At the same time, she teaches classes for professional dancers at the Conservatory (National Institute of Flamenco) and collaborates with different companies as a guest artist and choreographer.

Lidón is the award winner of “The young promise of Flamenco” given by “Certamen Coreografico de Danza española y Flamenco de Madrid.” She is first prize winner of the international competition of Flamenco of Almería and graduate of the Professional Conservatory of Dance of Madrid.

She directs her own company with wich she has premiered several shows, including “Reflejo”, “Tierra”, “Inquietudes” and “Remates en el interior”. She has been part of prestigious companies, dancing in the best Flamenco Festivals around the world and has shared the stage with the most important artists of this art.

About this online course

In this online course you will work and improve your footwork and spinning technique and learn a Tangos choreography. The structure of this choreography is composed of a Tapao, rematado with a Patá por Tangos, one Letra and an Estribillo.

It includes a warm-up before starting to dance and a stretch to finish. You will also have a guide to know what to work on each day you want to dance.
